GENERAL PRODUCT SAFETY REGULATIONS (2005)

Introduced to ensure that all products intended for or likely to be used by consumers under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions are safe.


CONTROL OF NOISE AT WORK REGULATIONS (2005)

Reduces the lower action level value to 80dB and mandatory exposure limit to 87dB.

Employers must assess the risk, take action to reduce exposure to the risk and carry out health surveillance where there is a risk.They must provide employees with information, instruction and training.


CONTROL OF VIBRATION AT WORK REGULATIONS (2005)

Introduction of action level of 2.5m/s² and a mandatory exposure limit of 5m/s².

Employers must assess the risk, take action to reduce exposure to the risk and carry out health surveillance where there is a risk.They must provide employees with information, instruction and training.
